Copier Reman strives to conduct its business in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way through various practices.

We sell used and demo copiers that have not yet reached their lifespan and still have many years of use left on them back into the copier market.

 Copier Reman also collects parts from second hand photocopiers that are still in excellent condition for reuse while non-reusable parts are sent for recycling.

Refurbishing and reselling these photocopiers and office printer spares means we limit the amount of equipment and parts that would have ended up at landfill sites, thereby reducing our carbon footprint.

Warranty

Copier Reman provides the following warranties for our certified refurbished photocopiers:

A 1 Year Warranty is supplied if a Service Level Agreement is not taken out.

Up to a 5 Year Warranty is supplied if a Service Level Agreement is taken out.

Please note, warranties are only provided for our certified refurbished copiers if the printer remains in South Africa after the purchase is made.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Only applicable to refurbished products

Faulty items that cannot be repaired, will be swopped out provided it’s within the warranty period;

The following are excluded from warranty claims:

Any physical damage to or mishandling of the item;

Any burn marks on the item;

Lightning damage, or damage due to power surge;

Missing / damaged serial numbers and / or other original labels;

Any markings, writings on and / or tampering with an item;

These units require regular servicing, any problems/issues that occur due to worn parts, spares or lack of ongoing service falls outside of the warranty.

 IN-HOUSE RENTAL FACILITIES

Copier Reman offers it's customers a hassle-free rental application process. We do not make use of banks or finance houses giving the customer the added benefit of 0% interest and an agreement that is not linked to the prime interest rate. Our Customers only sign a Comprehensive Maintenance Cover that covers the use of the device and all maintenance related issues. This includes all parts, toners, travel costs (50km Radius) and labour.

This allows the customer to pay a fixed monthly subscription for comprehensive device and maintenance cover.

Customers are requested to have the device covered by their own insurance and should cover damage due to electrical surges, fire, theft or malicious user damage.

High risk customers may be required to pay up to R 5000.00 security deposit which will be refunded at the end of the term. (T&C'S Apply).

Lower risk customers will be required to pay two month's rental as a deposit and a pro-rata rental depending on what time of the month the device is delivered and installed. All rentals are payable upfront monthly and a mandatory debit order is required.

If the customer chooses not to renew, a 90 day written notice period is required failing which, the agreement will continue for an unlimited period until cancelled according the terms and conditions of the agreement.
